Janet Spalding

janetJanet Spalding is the President of The Spalding Group.  Janet has been in the business of Real Estate sales and marketing for 40 years, and has experience in nearly every avenue of the business.  Selling, managing, and marketing residential re-sale homes and new home subdivision communities has been her specialty. Janet has a proven track record as a leader in both sales volume, and expedient closings.

 

Prior to establishing The Spalding Group as Broker and President, Janet was the Director of Sales and Marketing for a prominent new home builder.

 

Janet is experienced from the ground floor up and is accustomed to working from the architectural stage, to providing market research, overseeing the development of the merchandising, signage program and all marketing aspects, including tracking the escrows, and working with the most effective lenders available, insuring every sale a prompt closing.

 

Through her direction, The Spalding Group executed the successful sales and marketing programs for many homebuilders and institutions, including supervising all marketing decisions, and providing sales management and staffing for onsite sales.  With her full service organization, she has acted as a consultant for institutional lenders providing consultation on troubled projects, turning them into top producing communities.

 

Janet has personally received many distinguished awards, which include the following:

  • Sales Manager/Marketing Director of the Year for the Superior California Division of the B.I.A. for 1994
  • National finalist for the NAHB Sales Manager of the Year for 1996
  • National finalist for the NAHB Marketing Director of the Year for 1996
  • Marketing Director of the Year for 1996 in the Northern California Region for NAHB (Including Bay Area, Central Valley and Northern California)
  • Sales Manager of the Year for 1996 in the Northern California Region for NAHB (Including Bay Area, Central Valley and Northern California)
  • Sales Manager of the Year for 1997 for NAHB for all of California, Nevada and Hawaii
  • Finalist (1 of 5) for Sales Manager of the Year for NAHB for all the United States
